Biography

Dr Jha is an associate professor of otorhinolaryngology-head and neck surgery and consultant ENT Surgeon at Star Hospital, Kathmandu. As of 2024, he has been associated with medicine for 20 years and has been a clinician for 15 years. After finishing his medical school in 2009, he practiced as an intern for a year and as a medical officer for next three years. His association with ENT-Head and Neck Surgery dates back to 2013 when he began his residency in an affiliated medical college of Tribhuvan University, Nepal. He focuses on ethical medical practice and holistic approach to patient care. In between, he won a scholarship to be trained at NHS hospitals in Bristol and Liverpool, the UK. He has since been striving to provide a touch of British medical care to the patients in Nepal. He is available at Star Hospital Sunday through Friday 9 am to 4pm. It is recommended to call Star Hospital to make an appointment with him to avoid waiting times.
